i am building an under slung 23 speedster and i need a right hand steering box it will be cross steer from r/s spindle to left can anyone help.
Apparently you can buy RH Vega boxes as I've got a mate with one in his 32. Had a Holden box in the ch***is and replaced it with the Vega. Don't know the details but can find out if you're interested. US Mail vans are RHD so that's a possibility also.
RWD Mitsubishi Sapporo [ Challenger ],or a RWD Galant from a LHD car These are mounted on the LH side [outboard] of the frame rail . Some are 16:1 power steering boxes I've used a RHD version of this for a LHD Power Steering conversion on a Corvette [eliminating the power ram] Edit: for a smaller more compact box use a RWD Mitsubishi Lancer EX [the same applies]
You can use an early 1950's Studebaker box, left hand drive box but they put the pitman arm on the right. Bob
