    Hey guys-

I ordered 5.60x15 Bias Ply tires for the front of my 32 Ford and was wondering how wide a wheel I can run with that tire safely? Would a 15x6 wheel be OK to run? Thanks for your time.

6" is about the max without looking like something off a lowrider. I ran that size tire rim combo back in the 60s and it worked just fine.

15 x 6 will work BUT you are pushing the envelope at that size...A 155 tire is a better fit and they are available in Goodrich T A, 155 x80 x15....If you have to use the 5.60 tires I'd go for a 4 or 5 inch rim...Just my 2 cents worth, GOOD LUCK.

    I am running 5:60 x 15's on early FORD pick up rims that are 15 x 5 1/2 Total width of 6 1/2). I also used 49-51 Merc rims which are 15 x 5 1/2. 49-51 Lincolns are 6 in. (Total width of 7.)
