Ive done a search but really havent found anything concrete. I need rims for my chevy because the 14" ones on the car wont fit over the brakes on the JAG ifs. Im looking for some plain juinkyard fare steelies. Any common cars out there with the 15" rims the 4.75/5 hub and the 3.75ish backspace?
Jaguar stock wheels have about 1 inch more inner offset than regular GM wheels. The hub diam is a bit larger on the Jag hubs. There are stock Jag steelies, at least ones i have seen are chrome and have slots around with a cap that covers the lugs. Cap goes on outside like the GM wheels with outer nubs. S-10 4x4 wheels have even more inner offset, and the 5 on 4.75 pattern, but not sure about the hub diam.
Just went out to the S-10 corral (don't ask ) and looked at stock steel and three different kinds of factory alloy wheels, both 4x4 and 4x2. The hub diameter 2.75" on all of them and sized to fit the rear axle flange. The 4x4 alloy wheels neck down to 2.25" near the front (about 1.75" from the wheel mounting face) for the snap-in caps. Maybe someone with Jag wheels can post their hub diameter. -Glenn
