Ring gap on Blown SBC question

327 4.030 bore Forged pistons w/slp moly faced rings 471 blower running 6-7 pounds boost. Is .005 per inch of bore enough and what about the theory of larger gap on second rings anybody tried this?

.004 per inch of bore + a couple o thousands for moly rings & blown application.

Never heard the larger gap on 2nd rings theory. I run total seal gapless rings. 2nd ring is gapless.

 

What does the piston manufacturer recommend? They should be able to provide recommended gaps for any intended use.
