Finally found some time to work on the roadster today. I made these small "boxing plates" that will be welded in and the F-1 crossmember will be bolted to them...making it removable. I also picked up this 33/34 front end off some guys scrap pile. It has some shit scabbed on it as it was under a trailer for parts of it's life. I got it mostly stripped and all the extra steel cut off of them, as I will use this wishbone under the roadster. It still needs a lot of cleanup work.
Boxing plates are nice and neat,Chris.Wouldn't expect anything else! Fair bit of work to do on the 'bones.At least they're fixable. Cheers, Mark.
Yeah, and finding 33/34 wishbones is pretty tough (and spendy). I also got the perch pins out with no problem, they are like hens teeth as well!!
