    Too many of these fellows that have set the records and made these major accomplishments are leaving us. Godspeed Ernie.

    .... and so we lose another from the greatest generation, RIP Mr. Pereira. That is a wonderful tribute that Bob Dalton wrote, may God bless him for his compassion and friendship.
    Thanks for posting Hemi32. Although these posts are sad, I'm thankful that you brought our attention to Ernie and his accomplishments.

    Thanks for your kind words!

    Although Ernie's been gone for over two (2) years now, it's nice to continue keeping this little tribute to him going ... especially when I (or others) find more pics documenting his contribution(s) to Hot Rodding.
