    Hey guys,

Just thought I’d pop in and let you all know we lost Jimmy Flowers of Eudora Kansas yesterday. IMG_8978.jpeg We are all pretty lost for words so I think for now I’ll just share this @travisfromkansas photo of him charging the mountain at the hotrod hill climb. He brought it up often how much fun he had and how much he missed them having it.

pretty fucking bummed. I’ll update when I find out when services etc are. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I'm shocked is all I can say. Jimmy was a great guy, and will most certainly be missed by the folks around this part of the country who knew him! I met him many years ago when he had the shop near the Kansas River northeast of Eudora, and we had a lot of good conversations about old iron out there, and later at his shop in Eudora. I bought some of my Model A stuff from him, and also a '37 LaSalle transmission.

RIP Jimmy, you're gone way too soon!

Man this stings!! I have known jimmy since he was young going to swapmeets with his dad and Me with my Dad. We was always after the same stuff. I will never forget the time at Wyndotte County fairgrounds Swapmeet when I was waiting for the guy who owned a model A coupe project to come back to his spot So I could make the deal on it. after waiting patiently for about 20 minutes I walked up to the end of the aisle to the porta potty to take a piss. When I came back Jimmy and his Dad were standing there paying the guy for it. LOL Him and I became good friends a few years later. I know I will miss him and my prayers go out to Kayla and the boys and his family.

    Yeah.

lot of looking at photos and texting buddies. Everyone kinda feels the same. Damn. Feels like a bad dream.

It's been a rough couple of months losing a few people I know in the hot rod world. I was preparing for Rocky Burris' funeral Saturday morning when I got two messages from two people to give them a call at around 8am. That's never a signal of good news to come.
We lost a cool guy who I was lucky enough to hang out with a few times. Godspeed Jimmy.

Unfortunately both of the gentlemen in this shot are now gone.

His loss is a solemn reminder that life can change at any moment without warning. Be careful while working under your ride, tell your friends what they mean to you, make sure you leave the world a better place than you found it.

This is all moving pretty fast and I had a LOT of people ask about details when they became available so here’s a quick bump and a good shot of a tiny corner of the shop. You’d always find treasures peaking around.

I'll be there with bib overalls on, as a tribute. It's pretty much all I ever saw Jimmy wear in the shop.

Haha, I think I could count on one hand how many times I saw Jimmy wear something other than bibs in the last decade plus. Oh man that’s great.
