This is the saddest story i ever heard! How can anyone deal with this, My heart goes out to the family. JimV
Charlie, here is a link to a thread about the show for next yr. I'm way behind on details, but I'll get more done when cold weather sits I'n. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=609953
Never met Charlie or Nancy but they sound like they were very loved by many friends and family. My sincerest condolences to all those that know and love them.
I feel so bad for you. I lost one of my closest friends 17 yrs ago and there's not many days that go by that something doesn't remind me of him. Then a little over a year another close friend passed away and I still have his business card right by my computer saying "Crawfish Motors" if you don't run We will"He had 65 old cars in the drive to the church from the funeral home. I was right in the middle of the group in my 55. There were old cars as far as you could see both ways. What a tribute!!
Truly sad ..My Great Grand Parents passed this way. They loved each other more than anything in life.
Man, Toddy! I'm at such a loss for words, brother! I can only imagine the hurt and the big emptiness you must be feeling! Damn, bud! I'm so sorry! On a good note, just looking at all the photos, I can tell they were great people and they are in a good place. I'm here if ya need!
Dang. I was looking for some pics of the kids and found a few more of my bro and Nancy. Hanging at my house after a bday bash. I sure miss them both! Nancy and surface doctor (John)
Ps, charlie sr. I haven't forget your cd. I just to get everything I can on there. Sorry these pics are 6 weeks late gang. I just found them a few mins ago and thought I should share them. Threw me for a loop! Need to spend a week organizing the pics on the pc for moments such as these!
I think you savored every moment with those guys. You were all living it up every time I saw you. And there are more good times ahead. All is temporary - such is life.
