I'm just a custom car observer. I don't have the vision or talent to pull off an outrstanding custom I've got to tell you I'm impressed with this one. As someone mentioned, the factory should have come up with this, it's just sooooooo right. I'll agree, the wheel and tire ocmbination will put the frosting on the cake.............choose well. Frank
Wow,I didnt think people would remember my car.....it was on hiatus due to many circumstances but thanks to zman and Justin it`s back on......am thinking 65 t-bird tailights
super bad that thing makes me want to "do some crimes" It has a very serious look to it....like do mess with the folks inside or you will be sorry cant really explain it....just kinda a feeling I get
wow! im glad i clicked on this.. i cant wait to see a pic all together! the riv bumper looks awesome on there! great job..
When this first got posted I saved the pics to my hard drive immediately. One of my all time favorite Caddies. Cant wait to see it done.
Damn...when I can finally get out of SoCal and get moved to Mooresville I am gonna blast up to Raleigh with my 63 rivi and check that one out in person...man that thing is sinister looking...congrats on coming up with something unique and something the design boys at GM should have dreamt up... coming soon: rodtees.com
I'm not sure exactly what the tires are, I don't think they're Vogues, I think Diamond Back did them, Caddyman65 can answer that question. As for paint, we've been discussing some panel painting. Definitely will be high gloss, I pretty sure of that... Maybe some crushed glass as well. We just really wanted to get it all smoothed out and sealed up in a solid color before anything else...
I was wondering what had happened to this...glad to see it again. damn I need some star wires for my caddy project.
They are Diamond back, hard to see in the pics but they have a redline next to the skinny white,I think they were an option on 65-66 t-birds.the paint will be gloss and maybe Zman can get some pics of the interior too
She needs to be shiny, I know it ain't my car but if it were. I still love it though, the wheels and tires are perfect.
i just keep coming back to look at this car.. in my mind i picture that car jet shiney black with nothing else on it, and a white top.. whatta sick car..
WOW. I was totally staring at the front end and was like "oh,wow another Riv." Ah! but I am the blind one. Tricky rascal. Love it. Can wait to see more.
Great Job Caddyman, thinking outside of the box!!!....... I also have a 65 vert that I am working on, its at Shane Walps house now getting a shave job...... I might have to steal that front bumper look from you
