WOW, what a show , i am just recovering from the friday night and sat events! ( recovering get worse as ya get older guys). Great show ( one of the best in the country as far as i am concerned). Awesum cars ,all traditional styles represented from Gasers to customs and every kinda of early Ford in between. Some comments overheard during the weekend: What, you mean the stuff i have done my entire life is popular now?? Tom Culbertson Road Rocket and owner of Culbertsons Customs. No more traditional "Knob Creek" for the car shows! We have switched to "Woodford Reserve" for here on. The crew at Bubbas Hot Rod Shop" It works every time! Comment from the pin up winner as she dropped here dress on stage during the finals. It must have worked she won !! What is that smell ? Tupperware? Unknown crowd member As a gl*** 32 Ford drove by ??? Once again , great show, great cars, great location and a great job by the Indy Roadrockets !!!!!!!!! Looking forward to next year!!!!!!
Yea was a great show as always. Another comment heard Saturday was something was said about the rain and the reply was the people that drive kind cars of don't really care about rain. Not sure if that was meant to be a slam or a compliment. If you have not seen them yet there are pix posted on here by me and some good stuff from Tierod, maybe more by now I have not seen yet.
Yeah I didn't get that li'l Chicago dress-dropping gal that won, but I managed to catch the two I thought should have had it.... Rest of the gallery... yeah I managed to get a handful of cars, too. heh: http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i97/TeamTumbleweeds/Road Rockets 2007/?start=all
Great show as always. Just gets better every year. Thanks to Tom, Naomi and all the Road Rockets for putting on such an excellent show.
I had a swell time as always, I think I have only missed 2 of the shows so far..... I told everyone that I was leaving Saturday night....of course that didn't happen....several beers and a Tokyo Drift in the Denny's parking lot and I was still in town come daylight.....
The Mrs and I had a great time too. Good to see some folks that I seem to not see often enough. It hadn't rained there in over a month. Go figure.
SURELY YOU DIDNT MISS THE GREEN DRESS COMING OFF? Btw the "woddford reserve" supplier is dropping off a case this wed evening......
Tracy, your gonna hafta lay off that stuff Bubba was p***ing around!!! I did'nt see no damn train!!!! Thanks Tom and the rest of the Road Rockets...another great show!!!
Yeah, must have been the alcohol involved. Looked much better during the contest compared to the next day looking at the pictures...
Nahh, I just tried to block it out of my mind. Holy cow! A whole case!! Wow, that should last us quite some time.
great time!! can't believe this is the first one i've made it to. i'll be there next year!! i think i outpartied just about everyone. i know i got a good 7 hours on ****o. my buddies Jimmy and Jake hung till about 4am while Dez, Slick Andrews, myself and a couple others finished off the party (and most of the beer in town) by about 5am... there will be plenty of time to sleep when i'm dead. LOL oh yeah. the 2 girls in the stockings and school girl skirts looked about 16... and their mother was with em. they looked good but ******** fo sho!! can't believe their mother was lettin em walk around like that all day. WOW!!
Me and another guy were over heard talking about them looking under age. We did not know mom was in front of us. She quickly let us know that one was 19 and 1 was 20.
LMFAO!!! bet you were a tad embar***ed. mom looked just as----- how do i put this delicatly???... ****ty???---- as the girls. LOL. i just call em like i see em.
I left too early, so who won? Isnt the girl in the blue and orange top the one that posed with the Lunar Lander last year ? I thought she should have won it last year
