Maybe it was the heat...maybe it was the heat that caused your mother to swallow the best part of you. At any rate, fuck ya.

Yeah - I was just irritated at the time. I just mapquested the directions to the hot rod shop on the road rockets web page and was like "Cool! that's 3 miles from my hotel!" and left it at that 'til I got down there. Sucks. Now I gotta wait 'til Hunnert...

I was in town for the diesel truck thing too, and looking for the road rocket show was a last minute decision. Funny how hard it is to get that kind of info w/ no internet! Guess I'll have come out of my shell to make friends with some of you clowns at the next show so I can call someone instead!

seriously, you need to take some advice from brandy up there. do an intro before people really start flaming your ass. so maybe i was mistaken about the missing teeth thing, but somebody (don't remember who) DID tell me she was a stripper, just like i said in my other post. i didn't say she was a stripper, somebody else did. i don't have anything against strippers mind you, i've dated a few. they're real handy, because they always have cash. anyway, if i remember who it was told me, i'll tell them to look you up on the board here so you can play internet tough guy with them too.

I heard that too although I couldn't tell. I just thought "oh well...good thing she didn't enter a whistling contest" hahahaha

More importantly, this show motivated me to try and get another project to work on after seeing some of the cool rides that weren't Boydsters or garage trophys

No mention of my 50 running on 5 cylinders in that fictious race? I was, um, keeping back watching for cops.

Middleskewl, the guy with the black 49 was Tom. He's from the Chicago area and his friend from the INdianapolis area brought him a junkyard wheel cylinder... for the WRONG SIDE!!! hahaha! he got it to work and made it home ok though.

It was so freaking hot on saturday that people's shoe rubber was literally melting.

There was a whole group of Canadians at the show. That was awesome.

Thanks Hellfish!! Tom was a cool guy. Glad to hear he made it back ok.
I didn't know that other black ford was Django's dad's car. Although I
did get the feeling those two cars were somehow related.

    FWIW it's WIZZ magazine. With 2 Z's.

    Here are some pics...

I stopped to see my grandma beforehand... My car and grandma’s ‘29 Irish Fordson, that they have had since the ‘30s.

Very nice ‘36 from California originally, still in original paint, black and white interior and a warmed up ‘46 flatty.

The Road Rockets what give everyone a big thank you for coming out to the show. We had a great turn out even though it was hotter than a rocket outside. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves. I know I had a great time even though I was working all day. Of course I always enjoy annoucing the pin up contest, it might be the best part of the show. I don't have all the pictures up yet on our site. There are about 120 up right now and hopefully after I get off work today I can get the rest up. Go to www.IndyRoadRockets.com and check out what is up so far. The pin up contest pictures should be up sometime tonight. Once again a big thank to everyone that attended. You make the show what it is!!
