Hot Rods Road Runners car club Old Magazine

Just out of curiosity… wanted to see if anyone knows anything about the people in this cover photo, the car, or otherwise.

Obviously a 1932 Ford Roadster with a Flathead. But, the Road Runners t shirt caught my eye!

I picked up some magazines at an antique store the other day, saw this one and HAD TO HAVE IT! The photo just OOZES C@@L…

After buying it (and some other rags), I looked inside. Much to my surprise: 1951!!
Pretty cool that this is so early. I mean, Hot Rod magazine was late ‘47… First issue January 1948.
But, 1951 was still pretty early. First Bonneville Speed Week was 1949.
I know SCTA started pre-war…

Again, just for shits and giggles… would LOVE to know if anyone can identify the “Road Runner” member, the car, or anything else.

I didn’t recognize the guys but I was thinking that it sure looks like the Ray Brown roadster!!!
