    Looks like the problem with the Cadillac was vapor lock and small fuel supply lines. the flex line was tight against the coolant outlet casting on the right head. I rerouted it to give it clearance and will add a small low pressure electric pump back by the tank.

    A little update on the fuel issues with the 57, turns out that the 5 to 6 PSI fuel pressure the stock pump puts out is too much for modern fuel in an old AFB carburetor, it overpowers the floats and loads up. ( Might be a specific gravity thing). The car runs flawlessly with the fuel pressure at 2 to 3 PSI that the electric pump puts out.
