Here is my 29 Ford Roadster pickup. Just finished putting it together the summer of 2016. Pretty much all original except for juice brakes and a dropped axle.

 

dave i didn't mean to get everybody upset. i just wanted anybody who might want to do what you did to know which box it was. i myself have used the super box on my brothers '23 t altered and my flathead dragster and my '23 vwt. just to name a few. by the way, that is an incredable rpu.

I didn't have the money for a body, so I decided to build one... and it got out of control. Haven't seen one on this thread that I didn't like!

Wow, that's a beauty! Looks like you stretched out the cab dimensions compared to a steel A, wanted more room? I'm going to stretch mine 4" when I get going on building it. I'm 6'2", so a stock A RPU is a little small for any long drives.

 

Here is the beginning of mine. I'm 6' as well but I don't want to stretch it Plans are pretty boring, full fendered, 302.

 

Here's mine, my 1st running Hot Rod. It's still in the family after nearly 30yrs. Now it's a chopped closed cab wearing a different shade of color and sporting American 5 Spokes.

 

Looks like a good starting point. I sat in so many different trucks before I decided how I want mine set up. Stock, Stretched 4", Stretched 6", stock seat, custom seats, etc. I decided 4" is the right amount for me. Doesn't change the proportions considerably and still looks sweet. At the end of the day its just a personal choice and I'm not going to drive something that's not comfortable.

That sounds like a good plan so far. My plan is full fenders, a '67 283, TH350, ladder bars in the rear with a buggy spring, and a dropped I-beam in front. Some other ideas that will be a surprise
