My old 29 RPU after I sold it to Bruce Geisler, it was a great driver. One car I really miss.

He sure treated yours a lot better than he treated mine.

 

If you think your hot rod is finished just sell to someone else. Some people just can not see what is in front of them or they have to "make it theirs". Just a change of wheels and tires can wreck the looks of a car.

 

I wish Bruce would have only changed the wheels. After hounding me for years to by the RPU, I finally sold it to him when he promised me he wanted to change the car back to exactly how it looked on the cover of Hot Rod. SOB*****d everything off the car he could use then left it to sit in his shop getting the Junior Conway paint beat to hell.

however, Bruce passed away, no sense jumping on his remains...

That roadster pickup is a part of this thread. Why*****ter it's story all over the site? It's the history of the car that matters here, Who built it, who un-built it, where it is now.
