That full-fendered truck has a lot more custom work than appears at first glance. Long doors, short quarter panels (maybe home made), custom box sides (maybe not as tall as the stock box?), etc.

Your project has always interested me Peck, it looks fantastic!!

 

Last fall I mounted the wind wings and mirrors. Currently working on interior....reworking the headlight mounts. Fun fact, the "chrome" on the grille is vinyl wrap. Obviously durability is a concern but I did that myself as proof of concept.

 

That a nice RPU - it just like what I was building out of mine when the Cabroliet came around - my RPU went to HAMB'r here in Texas....always wondered what happen to it...

 

Need to look for that pic of Gene's RPU I got from the Uncle......
