I call this a 29 roadster pickup. I think it is actually ***led as a 30 or 31. It was ***led in California but I have not registered it in NC. I will sign the ***le over to the buyer along with a bill of sale. Body and frame were built by Mackeys Hot Rods in Huntington Beach CA. I bought it basically as it sits. Its set up for SBC with automatic trans. It has an early Ford/Mercury 9 inch rear with hydraulic Lincoln breaks all the way around. Front shocks are not mounted by I have the brackets that need to be positioned and welded on. The body is completed except for the floor. It has been started but needs to be finished and the body mounted to the frame. I have a lot of tubing and sheet metal to go with the car to finish the job. The bed is mounted and there is a “moon” style gas tank mounted in the bed. There is no windshield yet. I have a frame that could be used but posts would need to be made and mounted. I have a mustang steering box and all the parts needed to make an external side steer set up. It will all need to be positioned and mounted but all the parts are there. I also have a 40 ford steering wheel along with a Ididit, cut to fit, steering column. It has a turbo 400 transmission as well as 2 engine combinations. The first engine is a 355ci SBC that runs perfectly (approx. 400 hp)and the other is about 80 percent. I have a 60’s 327 block with bare untouched “camel hump” heads. I have a comp cams top end kit, a tunnel ram with brand new Holley 450 carbs and a Joe Hunt “mag look” distributor with MSD box. I have some Cast finned aluminum valve covers, a cast finned air scoop and a cast aluminum flip top gas cap as well as some other odds and ends to finish the car. In am thinking that 10K is a good number for sale but I would be open to offers. I would also be open to trades for a running an driving car of some sort. Thank you,
I want her back. I sold this project in NC around 2020 maybe? I believe to a guy in Concord.... I have moved twice since then and have lost the info of the guy that bought it. Here are some pics of what it looked like when it left. Its a long shot but figured I would ask before moving on for good.
