Very sad day...I agree with others who said it is too soon to blame anyone...we all know that driving early cars has always had its share of risks, but it is what we love doing....so let's just say RIP and keep him in our memories...
prayers sent to him above...god help and watch over Eriks family and all others who were touched by this...
Thoughts & prayers to family an friends I am so sorry for lost R.I.P Eric....please everyone have a safe holiday weekend.
I saw then loading the model A roadster on a flatbed this morning on my way into work. Yikes. My heart goes out to the family. The car looked like a crushed soda can. Could barley make out the crumbled white walls. Sad and sucky.
Nothing but sadness in this one. My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved. Godspeed and Rest in Peace Eric. Frank
My Bro told me bout this earlier today. Just now getting on line. This is horrible! My prayers to Eric Doran's family and friends. R.I.P. Eric Doran
I can’t tell you how devastated I am regarding this I don’t know Eric or his family but am truly distraught I have had a few close calls on my bike people stopping short Or empting ashtrays from open doors at traffic signals My thoughts and payers go out to the family and surviving Passenger
It clearly shows how much this fellow ment to this hot-rodding community from the responses I've been reading... Whadda, sad loss.
Man that really sucks Skip, Be strong we are all thinking of you and every one associated with this terrible tragic loss of life. I tragically lost my father in law (and very good friend) in the earthquake in Christchurch just recently, it still hurts me pretty bad, I know what your going through. Take care mate.
man,,was just on FB and one of my old buddies ( a non car guy),just posted it up about this....sad,...Eric was a close friend of his brothers and ran Eat Chow...... so sad,,,didnt know him,but alot of people thought alot of him and again,,my thoughts go out to his family and friends,,,,,,
Skip- My thoughts and prayers are with you and ACME at this difficult time. Know that things like this are no fault of your own and he clearly enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of your car. Keep strong my friend and keep your chin up; his wife and passenger(s) need all the support and strength they can get right now...and i know thats a difficult thing to swallow So many of us an only hope to go painlessly and while doing something we love. May you find the strength to guide you through this difficult time and may God help you on this bumpy road ahead. Everything will be okay; one step at a time and you all will get through this. may God bless
