Built the blue 27 about 10 years ago---built the yellow roadster pickup 3 years ago.---built the ratty looking one in 1965, but never finished it.
I think these shots tell it all. Nothing beats wind in your face at 100+ MPH. Can't get that in a coupe.
So, are the 23-25 T roadsters eligible for "hot rod" status if and only if they are track roadsters or turtle deck roadsters, or footlocker deck roadsters or lakes roadsters, BUT NOT roadster pickups or ?? AND, do coupes with tops cut off count as roadsters too?
Mine... But at this moment of the build I have everything dis***embled for extra bracing and the 40 dash installation...! Someday it'll be worthy of a little press.
Here's a couple more before I tore it down...! 455 Olds, turbo 400, Winters Quickchange, and Vintage JFZ 4 piston calipers on all four corners. It's got a certain "Nasty" about it that I like...!
Mine is slow but I've been working on it more lately and ALWAYS thinking about it... Turning out MUCH nicer than I'd ever imagined thanks to several talented people and will get better when we get the gorgeous new Sellers Hallock windshield atop that sweet cowl...
heres mine, a little later than most on here, not done much to it..... yet. got some plans for work over this year to change quite a bit of it over this year, new engine(still a flattie with some dress-up), '39 box and rear axle with some friendlier gears in it, the outside is staying pretty much the same except going to change to a set of '40 sold wheels.
WOW!!! This thread is bringing a bunch of people out of the woodwork. Great post. Wish I had a roadster myself..
Here's my dad and my middle daughter on the way to the Turkey Run from Atl last year. Dad drives it from VT every year
One of mine. I also own a '31 2 door deluxe phaeton, 2 '31 roadsters, a '31 roadster pickup and a '36 phaeton...........Mike
