[ QUOTE ] yeah, those plastic spinners are gay, here's the REAL deal though... [insert sarcastic emoticon here] [/ QUOTE ] I'm diggin' the white socks with prison slip-ons. You be stylin' RF! Oops! Forgot to add [sarcastic emoticon]
Here's some pics that Grant Zippel from Adelaide took at the CHRR. I'm about to setup some web pages for him. There sure was some good stuff there, I've just got to go through and pick the stuff I like (very difficult to choose). Anyway, here's some more nice pics of the RF Chev. (Nice job RF)
Prison slip-ons? The only souvenir I got from there were shower slippers (flip-flops!). Winos would have been a luxury item!
[ QUOTE ] Prison slip-ons? The only souvenir I got from there were shower slippers (flip-flops!). Winos would have been a luxury item! [/ QUOTE ] My bad... I didn't see that they were name brand... The car kicks ***, by the way. Can't wait to see the new iteration.
You're spending too much time on the HAMB Eric and Rob. Don't you have a magazine to put out? (No irony emoticon needed)
Does anyone have a shot of the rear gl***, or know what he used.. i.e. stock, shoebox ford, early 50's chevy? I have been itching to chop my 54 but haven't seen a good rear window treatment with a hair cut that short. Bad *** car, that is definatly how low I need my top to be.
This car fockin rocks! I've been photochoppin this bodystyle to get the look. This car exemplefies the look. Nice job!
That car is PERFECT!!!! It's also been a big inspiration for the '53 i'm building right now since the first pic i've seen of it. The general 'look' will be similar. Simplicity at it's finest! If mine come's out half as nice, i'd be happy. Rat...
Yep, sure is inspriation. Tony watch MG tonight man!! Got the pics off a chopper site. i have a side shot, dont know what folder it is in... steve-
I just noticed in the 4th photo there appears to be some white highlights on the peaks and the paint is shiny. What's the story RF? Is the car glossy now or did you put flattener over it?
[ QUOTE ] Got the pics off a chopper site. i have a side shot, dont know what folder it is in... [/ QUOTE ] Please find it. Please!!!
53 was built by one of our best friends, X-salinasboy Todd gravelle. It was built 10 yrs ago and sat in his garage as is, then his wife joined a Cult ,then she was dating a guy in the cult, now todd is in the cult too and he sold everything to follow his x wife, their boy and her boyfriend down to SD , and live with them, Rob was in the right place , and could pull getting it. everyones happy now.
Well thankyou for all the neat shots and the handy hints on those *****in' spinners. Thanks for the info on the build up Cole, I thought it might have come out of your shop, very close style to your blue hardtop. R.F, What are the future plans for this thing??
Crazy story about how Rob got the 53 Cole....it's like that old saying, "It's not what you know, but who you know that is joining a cult and has a KOOL Kustom in the garage".
One of my past editorials explains exactly how I got the '53 (never taken credit for Todd's creation...I'm only finishing his vision). Anyway, that photo I posted is of the '53 with the suede-cleared K200 being sanded down. The outcome will soon be revealed.
i wanna' git' me some of'dem blingy de' blingizzles...i'm confused... but, i still love ERIC and R.F. nic
