Technical Rochester 2 jet leaking

My Rochester 2 jet looks like it is leaking from the throttle linkage where it goes to the blades it there anyway to fix that?

 

Replace the needle and seat and set the float to spec.

Check the throttle shaft for excessive play and wear.

 

I just did the needle, seat and float the throttle shaft moves out a little when you rotate it

 

These carbs have an issue with the fuel getting hot after shutdown and boiling out of the throttle shaft hole, especially with modern fuel. If that's the case, try to reroute the fuel line away from exhaust components, or shield it from heat somehow, and add a phenolic spacer under the carb to disperse some heat from the carb base.

If it's leaking while running, then you've got too much fuel pressure or the float isn't set correctly.

 

So when does it leak? After shut off? Does it re- start hard, like it's flooded?

 

I found the problem I put a rubber gasket on the the venturi screw instead of the fiber one and it tore just letting it leak onto the blades thanks for the help gentlemen
