I've got my Rochester 2bbl apart for rebuild. The accelerator pump discharge retainer ( T shaped ) is frozen inside the carb. Soaked it overnight with rattle can (useless) carb cleaner and that did nothing. Needle nose really can't get a good grip on the thing so I'm stuck. Thought about putting it in the wife's oven but she'll be pissed when it stinks up her kitchen. Help !.... Dave.

A long shank needle-nose pliers should work well. Attempt to rotate the "T" back and forth slightly to loosen, then pull straight up. It will come out. Jon.
