ROCHESTER 2G SMALL BASE TRI POWER CONVERSION BASE KIT & LINKAGE Give your hot rod, rat rod or custom the performance and respect it deserves with my fresh Triple Deuce 3X2 Tri Power Induction System. Do you want a traditional tri power but can't afford a complete ready to run kit? Do you want to build a tri power but don't know how? This starter kit is right for you. Included are converted small base 2G bases for tri power use, progressive linkage, & specific conversion parts. This kit plus my detailed instructions will save you money and allow you to customize your induction system yourself. The secondary bases are converted to act just like factory Rochester tri power bases - no idle ports & no power valves. They have extended shafts for linkage and thick butterflies to seal the ports when not open. My kit also includes the primary base with extended shaft, throttle arm, restored butterflies, and idle mixture screws. The custom polished stainless progressive linkage is smooth and adjustable. This linkage is setup for Small Block Chevy intakes with 5-1/2" spacing on center. All vintage and new intake manifolds for SBC's use this spacing - Edelbrock, Fenton, Offenhauser, & Weiand. The secondary arms are custom aluminum utilizing polished stainless hardware. The thick secondary carb butterflies are held closed with correct OEM GM style tri-power torsion springs. The bases have been media blasted, acid etched, honed, and painted gloss black. They have also been baked for a chemical and chip resistant finish. All three bases have vacuum ports with 1/4" pipe plugs. These can be used for PVC, power brakes, auto transmission vacuum modulator, etc - or any vacuum requirements you have. The aluminum ones you see from Speedway and Vintage Speed do not have a vacuum provision. I am including top, body to base, and base to intake gaskets, power valve plugs & seals, modified primary idle tubes, secondary choke plugs, and cluster seals & gaskets. The detailed instructions will outline how to set up your tri power, tuning, and other parts you might need to rebuild your carbs. The intake pictured isn't included.
