Rochester Carb ID - Help Please

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Neppy, Jan 31, 2007.

  1. Can anyone ID this thing? I'm told it's original for a 49-5? Olds 303. I've seen them on some cars with a huge oil bath air cleaner/silencer attached. I can't find anything online about them and I don't know the model number. There is a number cast into the front of the bottom of the bowl/plenum.

    I'm betting it's a super rare,
ultra awesome, one-of-two ever made, five pound gold mine. Probably worth around $60,000 but I'll take $59,995...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAaaaa...!!!...!!!

    Anyway...any help is mucho appreciado.

It's a Rochester AA, and it was used on '49-'50 Olds V8s.

  3. Thanks, Heathen.

Anyone know anything about details, cfm or know of any websites for info on them?
