Event Coverage Rock N Race at Dragway 42

Some pics I took at Dragway 42 this weekend. I can't post pics but I took my Camaro down to 5 cars in my bracket class on Sunday.

 

We were lucky enough to be pitted next to Mark Rogerson. A very cool guy with a very cool car. He saved a piece of history that not only looks great but it runs. The definition of traditional drag racing.

 

Man! I just figured out when I should have scheduled a business trip to West Salem. Maybe next year….

I miss Ohio, having grown up 5 miles from Thompson Drag Raceway and just a few hours from Dragway 42 and Mid-Ohio road course.

Great event! A Couple pics I snapped Saturday after my Surf instrumental band played at noon. It was a busy day! We only made the day trip from Buffalo, have to spend the weekend next year! Lots of great stuff! Thanks Don Moyer for putting on a great event!
