    71 olds 350 was 240 hp with 2bbl carb, 260 w 4bbl

    66 olds 425 was 310 to 375 hp, the 454 is a chevy engine

probably because the 454 from the Delta is either a 425 or a 455 (probably the 425- which is a killer motor)

the rocket 350 is just that- an olds 350.

Check out 442.com. they got specs.

I have a usb port on my old car books, you know....

  6. Oldsmobile did make a 454" motor....It never was installed on production cars, just a counter parts block.
I thad the cam bore raised to acommodate the additional crankstroke.
It has a Rocket emblem cast on each side of the block and was capable of .125 overbores....Originally sold new for 2700.00
And -PLUS- it was a small block too!

Sqrl u kill me! Somehow that is exactly how I thought your office would be like, not that I think of you often or anything...

  11. I believe during the '90s they introduced that block, primarily a racing effort,it was actually an Olds labeled block with Chevy SB dimensions externally....
Frankly, I never saw one in anything.
Do not know if still available....
I suppose they were in pro stocks/dragracing.....
