I'd love to see photos of that... I've already done the volare swap in mine, but I was really seriously considering going that route... I'm sure there are others who would like to see it as well! Thanks, Ben
Ben I will see if I can get some pics for you on the week end. I don't think it will ride as good as your Volare swap though. Cheers Dago
Looking good Charlie, hope its not going to take over from the A pick up as a daily driver. With those six two's you'll be needing an oil well near your new Garage - know what I mean. cheers Bob
Dago, it has been a long time since I have seen a set of C & D's. I have been living on the other side of the big water since 1988 and I guarantee that there are very few people over here who know what they are. About the only wheel that I think would be rarer anywhere would be a set of Tony Andrews' Custom City wheels (or a set of Skogs) Roo Man[/quote] Where did you come from in Aust ? Did you know Tony Andrews ? Bobbed T Do know where I can get a cheap postie ? ha ha Cheers Dago
Damn Charlie... is that what I've been spying over the fence when i drive past? Looks cool. Sure you don't want to part with one of your projects? I think you need a real grease monkey, backwoods style photoshoot of your rides one day - hint, hint.
Matt, that sounds great. If any one does a photo shoot of my shit i'd want you to do it. Only problem is I am moving house, most of my stuff is spread all over Sydney at friends places untill I settle in the new place. But when I do I'll let you know and you can do it then. Thanks Charlie
Hi Brootal, Sorry I didn't reply sooner I just saw this. What have you been up to?Thanks for the kind words about my chit. Merry Xmas to you & your family. Cheers Dago
Being a dad, gone back to Uni part time, hardly working (as opposed to working hard) and not much else. Will be back in Sydney/Canberra for the Summernats.
Unbelivable truck and motor I've got a 324CI Rocket motor with an Offy 6x2 intake as well. Having some trouble figuring out what carbs to use and whether or not a relativley stock motor can handle that many carbs. You said you were using Holley 94's? That seems to be the route to go but I've heard that problems occur when running a multi-carb setup becuase of the vaccum power valves? What kinda changes did you make to your motor so it could handle the 6 carbs? Any help you could provide would be MUCH appreciated! And again, awsome truck
Well I fired it up yesterday for the first with the six jugs , it used a gallon of petrol in two miniutes. I have progressive linkages on it and I will be replacing the power valves with blanks on the four outside carbs. At present I have #52 jets In center carbs (primary) & #48 jets in the outside carbs (secondary). It starts & runs pretty good considering the amount of fuel it was using.I will keep you posted. Cheers Dago
