Rolled the roadster out for the first time on it's new frame today to see if I like its stance, What do you think? It's a '30 roadster cowl & doors with a sports coupe rear, on orig deuce rails with "A" F & R cross members. The engine is a 303 Olds with a '48 Ford 3 on the tree open drive gear box & a '55 Olds rear. The front axle is '32 with split "A" wishbones & a '56 F1 steering box .The dash is a combination of '36 Ford & 1950 Nash. I will be running wide fives all round when done. Cheers Dago.

[Be warned though, you will have a little rocket competion, as my buddy plans to be all mocked up with his 324 [/quote] Thanks for the warning. May be I should use my other motor.
Hhahahahhaahahhahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahhaaha ....................now you have just slapped him across the face with your dueling glove.............killer.
Yup, 324 1956, factory 4 barrel engine . I have an early edelbrock 6x2 manifold which I'll set up when the rest of the build is done.
Looking good hows the clearance for pipes around the steering? damn those skinny A bodies! At least you dont have to squeeze a starter down there too.
but the oil cannister is on that side Jason. Good to see charlie, would be good if you could make it down for the chopped show, would fit in well. will pm you an update, when I have something to update...
Nice Charlie looking good. Was wondering the other day how this was going, will you make the nats. Did you find the number for the wheel repair guy out you way for me. Regards Troy
Yes it is a bit tight around the steering box. You have to get rid of the oil filter cannister with a by pass plate. The exhaust is no problem with fabricated pipes but I am using stock manifolds, which makes it a bit tighter. Hi Bobbed T, No it won't be ready for the Drags , but my Olds will Thanks for all your input guys. Cheers Dago
Hi Troy, No it won't make the Nats at this stage but you never know. Ring me tomorrow I have the wheel repair guys number at work.
you got yourself one bitchin roadster there Charlie. maybe we could get it featured on "Ol School Rodz" .......
Charlie, that roadster will be super ncie when done If I your rpevious rides are anything to go by. Esp with that Blown Rocket mill.....keep us posted with updates and you get closer to completion mate. NICE !! Rat
Very NICE, Man! Looks Great. Good lookin' motors Olds are in my opinion,It's gonna be top when it's done. Nick.
Looking good! Are you sure the steering isn't backwards. Just kidding! Ive never driven one on THAT side of the car.
Gees thanks Mark, I don't know what to say. Have you got your barb wire grill for the coupe yet ? he he. And thanks to all you guys for the kind words,it means a lot to me. Regards Charlie
Mate, Not only fitted the grill, but I've cut a hole in the filled roof on my coupe, so I can fit the extended gearstick into it. maybe we could see about both cars in a dual feature
