Whilst browsin' for photos and info on old-timey Olds racers, I discovered that NHRA has spec pages for early engines. I know that the online Olds FAQ has a bunch of errors in its '49-64 Olds engine listings. But perhaps NHRA's specs might be accurate? I haven't tried to verify anything, but you guys might want to bookmark these links. I did, plus I printed the info out too.

    What am I yappin' about?

    Here's one link, this one for a '55 324:
    www.nhra.com/tech_specs/engine/blueprints/OLDS-55.rtf

If you just insert the 2-digit year of the year you want instead of the 55, you can look up other years. Pretty cool, huh? Hopefully it's accurate.

You other guys that are into Caddies and Nailheads and Y-blocks and the like are going to have to do your own research. But I mention it in case they have something for you (and probably do somewhere).
