Hello my name is Charlie aka Dago 88.I am new to the H.A.M.B. and I have noticed a lot of Oldsmobile owners on here, but haven't seen too many cars posted.Oldsmobiles are rare here in Australia, but I have been fortunate to have owned a few.At present I have a 1950 '88' 4 door and a 1946 4 door sedan, 2 doors are very rare here.I will try and post some photos(I am new at this). So I hope we can see some of your rides or at least 'rocket' powered rods. Thankyou, cheers from Dago

Dago 88 that pic of your '50 coming off the line made my neck hairs stand on end. Wonderful stuff. Reminds me of pics of early Arnie Beswick.
P.S. i'd like to get hold of a '49 or '50 moredoor 88 to build a bootlegger car out of... P.P.S. my brother found a '51 88 2 dr. post for sale they want $1000.00 for it,belongs to an 80 year old guy who was gonna restore it but never got around to it.
Jeez. . . you guys with the "late models". . . I don't have a photo other than my avatar but I am building a 324 for my '35 coupe at the moment. . . a few bits each weekend. lots of nice cars. . Darkhearts looks cool!
Here is mine, one of 3 55 88 2dr h/ts in N.Z. (that I know of) funny thing is all 3 were private imports over the last 15 or so years and all 3 started life as blue and white cars (only one still is....) Hey Dago, what engine do you have in that car ? I would love a 50/51 2dr or a 57 98 2dr h/t (or a guy I know here's 57 PILLARLESS WAGON....)
I know where there is a un touched 50 olds 4 dr in mid ga will ck on price if any one is interested. I also know where a 50 olds 2 dr is. I have been asking since i found it in 76, not for sale. would like to have a 54 like one i had before.

Man this is Rocket Heaven, thanx guys. Any more? At present my '50 has a small block Chev in it, I do have 324 rocket motor for it but they pretty hard to get parts for here, and I did'nt want to trash it.
Luv your coupe, kind of reminds me of my '36 ford sedan I built in the late '70s with a 324 and dual quads. Here are some pix. Cheers Dago
Cool ride, reminds me of my nephew Paul's '56 88. Are there many Oldsmobiles in New Zealand? Cheers from the Dago
Not sure if you were able to open that last photo of my nephew's Olds,so here is another one just in case.
A lot of Oldsmobile parts are available at http://www.fusick.com/. I'm relatively sure they have rebuild parts also. Good luck.
Love that '56... I'll trump all the late model claims...heheheh. Both of my '62 98's...Town Sedan and a Holiday. The Town Sedan has been my daily for about the last 6 years, and the Holiday is going to pretty much swallow it whole if I can ever find a place to do it. Olson
