The current plan is every month. When the weather turns nicer and the car shows start to get busy, it could move to a sunday morning.

Well the first HAMB on the Rocks happened today... Now if it had just been me and Derby splitting a couple of pitchers I would have considered it a success. But since there were 16 people there, I have to consider it a HUGE success!

Many thanks to everyone who made the trip out to have lunch. We had guests from Jefferson, Verona, and Janesville Wisconsin as well as some of our Illinois neighbors from out East (Aurora, Mokena, and Morris). We also had a good group of locals from Rockford, Belvidere, Machesney Park, and Byron.

The Firehouse Pub put us in a nice side room, had a good selection of drinks, and everyone seem to think the food was real good.

A special thanks goes out to Larry (OldBobSign) and his lovely bride to be Gloria for the super cool name tags and awesome "Meet & Eat" stickers!

We hope to make this a monthly thing (especially while the weather is poor) so we will bump this thread late Jan to see who is interested for February.

Also in March we can probably tour this museum as it is located right close by. http://www.historicautoattractions.com/

Here are a few pictures from our afternoon together.

The Firehouse Pub is where we had the event. They set us up nice and rolled out the welcome for us.
