It was never my intention to dis-credit Rod & Kulture, I was just telling my side of the story. R&K is a premier magazine that promotes all the things I love, I have no problem with the Lyndwood rails getting press I'm Pro-Lyndwood always have been always will. I also have no problem with someone re-creating a car...just call a spade, a spade.
I have No bad feelings against R&K or for spike and zombie, **** happens  just sorry it went this far before the truth be told.
I also like to thank all those guys who spoke on my befalf, you are all truely friends and I will gladly do the same if called apon.

on a side note ed bliss jr did an incredible job on this car, it is a dead ringer for the original and he should be commended on his work! Great Job!

    breeder, pm sent.

paul, like i said earlier, we want the correct info. i dont feel you're kicking us in the balls. we appreciate you supporting our little magazine. if we have some bad info, we want to know, so we can correct it. this thread was the first i had heard of this issue. over the last few days, myself as well as spike have spoke to several reputable sorces that all have the same story. to me it definitely warrents some sort of retraction.

"Little Magazines" grow up to be BIG magazines when enough people care about getting it right. Good for you Zombie. I know this is an extremely tough call as NOBODY wants to be the bad guy. There's a way to say you have heard conflicting stories and not totally trash the original guy. Good luck, Jim

Wow I'm sorry it took five years to respond to this but I am Ed Bliss Jr. and I built the recreated c dragster of Ed bliss Sr. everything Paul says is true because, of Jim Amole I got to borrow Paul's car to help with the reconstruction. I built the whole car in my garage with my son and my dad looking on and helping out when needed. Don Garlits did not look at the car ever or at least since the 60s. The entire frame body steering links front axle all the welding, everything. the only thing I did not do was paint the car which was done by Carroll Hine, and all of the chrome and the louvers. My dad did pay for everything that was needed to get the car done. I hope this clears up everything sorry it took so long hope you understand my situation

thanks Ed! I just found out about Jim's p***ing, very sad I missed his funeral & was un-able to say goodbye to my friend & teacher. he was a true craftsman who had his hands on (literally) some of the badest, fastest & nicest looking race cars on the east coast.

    Rest in Peace my friend!
