    I am just getting around to working on a Rod Bods 32 roadster body that I started putting together 20 years ago. Can someone that has one of these bodies tell me how the trunk latch and striker install? The disc I had with all the photos I took at their shop years ago is bad so I don't have much to go by anymore.

    Yes I get that the pin goes on the trunk lid. The mounting plate with the pin fits the inside of the lid, that part is pretty straight forward. The latch location I haven't got figured out. The bracket attached to the latch doesn't really seem to fit the rear panel anywhere.

    @Rocco611 ,
    The Repo latch in lower panel do not fit correct neither
    With out cutting reshaping weld then bolt in .
    If no one can post information
    I wonder if mock up in hand & use dial
    Caliper , tape & cardboard to sort out location .

    Yes I could fabricate something, If I had a photo of the way Rod Bods installed the latch it would probably be eaiser, I am probably missing something obvious. Sometimes I fabricate something and it comes out great, sometimes its not great and I do it over.

    I was able to repair the file structure on the computer disk and recovered the photos. Anyway this is how Rod Bods mounted the latch. I just needed to add another piece of sheetmetal to the latch bracket. DSC00696.JPG
