I too have been stiffed by R/C and Street Rodder both. So far no response from them. I have actually missed the last 2 R/C mags.
The cover has a primer 29 Ford Pickup on it. I hate that they make some issues with 2 different covers. One for the news stand and one for subscribers.
I have never gotten mine before i see it in the store. Kind of a bummer. but the same with HOTROD mag as well.
if the latest is the one with the Astra coupe, then I'm good. Just renewed my subscription. My wife got it for me last year.
Huh, sounds like Source Interlink's newsstand distribution is a little faster than the U.S. Postal Service... imagine that. This means if you want to call someone and start screaming your R&C has not arrived yet call the post office, not the poor bastards in SIM's subscriptions department.
I used to seeing the magazines that I subscribe to on the newsstands before I receive them in the mail. It used to be getting them in the mail before they hit stores would be a perk of subscribing, I guess not anymore.
What pisses me off, is that by the time you realize that it hasn't shown up, the next month is on the shelf; now you're missing an issue, and they won't replace it. Unless you want to buy a back issue, they'll just extend your subscription by a month.
The lady I talked to (who was extremely nice ) tryed to extend my sub. for a extra month , and I said no , that I wanted the issue I had coming ! She said it would be 2 to 3 weeks , and I said COOL I want it !
I didn't get mine either!...I can't eat, can't sleep, Oh! wait a minute!......... I let it expire! Hell, no wonder I'm not receiving it anymore! Long live Gabor Szabo!
I got mine a couple of weeks ago. If your talkin about the issue with Bill Hines chopin a Merc. And how to put electric windows in a shoebox ford. Don't have the mag in front of me now, it's in the crapper and the ol lady is in there.(I get piss shivers thinkin about it)
I hope all is well, I just coughed up for another years foreign subscription. Up until now I have always got my copy about two months before it hits the stands over here (keeping in mind that we get your current newstand issue about a month late down here. I think R&C has really picked up over the last couple of years.

Same here. I had the exact same problems as about everyone on here with all my subscriptions (Rod & Custom, Classic Trucks, Street Rodder). Still having problems with Street Rodder. I just got off the phone with them for the 2nd time. A month ago I got the latest Classic Trucks and THE COVER of the previous month's issue in a protective bag with an apology from the post office. I called Classic trucks and they sent me the copy that got damaged AND the month before that. Nice people. I'll have to go down the local post office this weekend and see what's going on, if I can.
Yep I got that...R&C has always been wierd like that..I think my beloved Low Rider might do the same thing.. I didn't get an issue of Truckin' sent to me, and I called them up and they sent me the issue I needed and the lady on the phone was nice enough to ask if I had missed anyprevious issues...So I got 2 others I was missing from a set.. Nice people.
