Hey guys, I'll keep this short. I'm an up-and-comer looking for an opportunity to learn things the old school way. I don't have flashy degrees and 5 grand worth of tools, but i do have an insatiable want to learn. I'm willing to relocate if you're willing to give me an opportunity to get into the industry. If any of you have any openings in your shop, or know of anyone who does, please send me a message. We can discuss things at a greater detail there.

Thanks much for your time guys, you're all a great help.

In NO WAY am I trying to talk you down, but FYI, most guys that get hired on as an apprentice (sp?) are paid VERY LITTLE, if anything at all. I get guys daily just begging to come in to sweep floors, water the dog, sand, grind, WHATEVER, just so they can learn some. Best bet, ask around in your area, and keep your current job. Now, hiring skilled help, a~whole~nother story.
