I am the proud owner of a 48 Lincoln with a Saginaw steering box moved into the frame about 1 3/4 inch for clearance with block and headers. Can connect the steering column with a couple universal joints, but for the pitman arm to drag link, I need a rod end adjusting sleeve that is about 1 3/4 inch longer, or about 6 1/2 inches total; or find a new rod end with a longer shaft to center the steering wheel. I think it is 11/16" diameter, standard Ford.

    Where to find such things?
    Thanks

  2. i think it would be best just to make a whole new drag link the correct length

  3. If your not going to do this try N.A.P.A.. HRP
