I can recall getting busy in the back seat of a Camaro as a young un, not happening today. But there’s room for fun in this Caddy.
Swap meet stuff a near perfect Craig floor mount 8 track player this is for @Tim_with_a_T He said he was thinking about a sedan. Here is one.
Bandit! You’re not supposed to tempt me! This, along with the short video Aimée’s mom just sent me of a flower car from their road trip (I took screenshots), are not helping! I would need to sell the roadster in an unfinished state to make room for a Tudor. I go back and forth, but I think it would make sense to get the 32 running/driving before considering selling. Unfortunately, with my project list, that’s quite a ways down the road! Thanks for posting the pictures! I really need to try to make this show next year.
Wow, made me do a double-take as that's a near twin to a 56 that I almost bought from a guy at work many years ago, original turquoise/white, a real "Uncle Daniel". Another coworker snapped it up while I hemmed and hawed, he lived in Ridgefield. For the most part nowadays I'm pretty focused on the 55 two-ten cars but I dig them all.
Great coverage of some great cars! I nominate BB for the position of official WA state HAMB rod run reporter and photographer. That Caddy back seat is a real fornicatorium.
If you decide to camp, we have 2 spots at Willicot RV Park outside Seaview. Kim and I bring our trailers but we had a buddy come down and camp with us this weekend with his tent, tons of room for more. Showers near by. About 4 miles out of town on US 101. The last time I got appointed to something I had skipped the HOA meeting and now I am the Architectural Control Nazi, "no sport court for you!"
My phone died at the show Saturday, and I failed to have a charger cord with me. What a bonehead. And to make matters worse we woke this morning to a pretty heavy rain. It soaked everything, firewood, chairs, you name it. The sea haar continued to swirl around us and a few of us made the call to head for home early. I brought a hoodie but no rain jacket (my bad). And as packing goes, I forgot my shower towel, soap, etc. Remember I washed the truck before leaving? Well the car towels were still in the Silverado and semi dry, that and a few folks had left their shampoo behind in the mens room so I got my daily cleaning rituals taken care of. Prell, seriously? They still sell that crap? I always forget something. There are a few more car pics. I will get them posted as soon as my phone recharges.
My last name is Maxwell. It’s a Scottish name originating from a well on Macs property used to water the sheep. Thus Macs well, or Maxwell. Any way that is how it was explained to me when I visited. Over at the swap meet I found this Maxwell motor car company key fob. Wife got a new key chain for her truck keys
Looks like another great year of rod run, have not been up there since the mid 90s. Need to find a place to stay for the couple of days one of these years to go back. Would be a good one to hit up with the 61 once we get it all squared away this winter for next years fun. Yeah I saw others on facebook posting about the rain up there.
My trailer has a nice electric awning that doubles as a car port. Crappy pic but when it poured yesterday morning I woke up to a dry pickup. See Kim ‘s car See Kim win an award see Kim very happy
A few more stragglers COE, I’d paint it, @anthony myrick wouldn’t waste the resin This would have fit the “dark green” thread a few weeks ago. This first pic makes this woody look like it’s got a pop up.
A few more that Kim took when he ran up to get his award. I told him “no big wheels, pre 65, no pro touring or pro street, no LS engines, no fake patina. He still managed to find a few. I only had to delete a couple.
