Rodder turned Tuner? A little OT.

i gotta disagree with the people who think that fwd cars arent fun and can be potentailly quick. yes, there are definently alot of herbs out there who do some really hainus garbage to thier import cars. but a true gearhead is just that. rwd or fwd is just a preference. speed is speed and reworking a motor to achieve a good et shouldnt really depend on whether it's old iron or new import. it's kind of sad that hollywood has painted a picture of the street racing world as a candycoated load of **** where guys with 60k into thier kitted out hondas with louis vuitton interiors and 22" dubs go head to head for "street cred" whatever, i'm starting to ramble...the point is whatever your preference on brands or eras or which tires the power comes from, if you are serious about going fast, getting dirty, and having fun.. i solute you.

my daily driver is a 12 second 86 dodge omni, which is fun because i think it's universally viewed as ugly by the old car guys and the tunner guys.

 

here's what i was thinking when the WRX's came out...get a totalled WRX, stuff the drivetrain under an 80's subaru BRAT. done. it'd be some work, but one hell of a sleeper!

Donzie...... we need to talk. You really could have found her something traditional. All of us here would have made it our priority and spent the rest of the year finding one for her if you would have told us the ultimatum.
