The Rodders Journal is always well packaged so that even if the outer envelope gets damaged the magazine is still safe inside it's protective sleeve. I've subscribed since issue #1 and NEVER had a damaged issue arrive in the mail. I have had the annual posters arrive damaged beyond belief, but never the magazine. I have notice that there are more typos in the copy than seems appropriate for a magazine of this caliber. I wonder if they'd hire me to proof read each issue...
Anyone having trouble getting on theur website? I've tried several times thru the Alliance link, google, yahoo and couldn't get thru. Gotta renew my subscription.
Received mine yesterday also. As nice as the publication is I try to be somewhat careful handling them. A bunch of my copies are a little dog eared, but I treat 'em with a little more respect than my "standard" magazines.
I got my issue in the mail today... Fantastic photography by Steve and his team as usual. But personally I think it is a very boring issue and the only - to me - interesting article in it is about Drag racer Eddie Baumann... and that says something coming from a Custom Car enthusiast like I am!
just got mine Monday. Excellent! Great article on the SoCal going fast. too bad it couldnt deliver my copy!
I received mine from issue 1, Then I got upset because the lettering was so small, OR the background was tree leaves, and I could never get the attention of those responsible. So I quit my subscription, then I couldn't stand it so I bot each issue, at So-Cal. Then I got my subscription started again, same thing, all that room around the cars pictures and little writing. Man its frustrating, Hate wearing glasses, I get so excited, they fog up. If the publisher would just put out a large font addition... I am reminded every year the readership gets one year older. But they won't. my .02 cents. Bob Huffman
