So I finally got the time to upload the images from the Revival that I was creating using collodion on tin. Some of you may have noticed me running around with my big old camera... I want to say thanks to the whole crew over at TRJ (Steve, Curt, Chasity...) for letting me have a little slice of the grounds to set up and stage some of the great cars. I was having a blast. Wish I would have shot some more cars, but there is only so much time and these images take time to create. For folks who are into numbers, about 20-35 minutes per image you see below. They were shot and developed on site in a mobile dark tent. Captured directly on sheets of metal. Hope you enjoy.
These images are really cool. I stopped by to talk to Greg when he had a row of them drying by his portable developing booth. It was really neat to see the tin with the fixer or whatever it was dripping down the sides and these images on the metal. I love this shot of the Dave Lane-built '34. It looks like it could have been the "Eliminator" album cover if Billy Gibbons was in Venom instead of ZZ Top.
