I kind of like it when Ryan starts a little trouble on his own site - summoning the demons of old. :)

You people are bitching about Germ's writing. I guess you don't remember the photos.

Glad you found the way to other side Germ.

Purely to keep this amazing thread, partially on track, I hope " TRJ ", makes a full recovery !
    Okay enough about that.

Being I am still a relatively new person here, I missed out on all of the content from @Germ back in the day, when his content was controversial.

I read all of the information in the threads listed in Germs profile page, its more than obvious that the man has evolved, and his priority's have changed, that happens when you have others that depend upon you.

Words are like arrows, you can aim them anywhere, but when released, they will go right to where they were aimed, whether intentionally or unintentionally, regardless of the mental fuel, that pulled the bow string back in the first place.

There is an eternal smart-ass in me, that appreciates the whirlwind of a shit storm, that the old Germ, must have whipped up on this website long ago.

For that, he gets a trophy, of a modified piece of Ralph Steadman's incredible pen and ink art work from the killer book by Hunter S. Thompson " Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas "
All hail the power of "uncomfortable direct eye contact "
The word Germ and Gonzo, both start with the letter " G "........That makes me smile !

I went to Barnes and Nobles Yesterday looking for a copy of that Canadian
tome that is noted to be similar to the R.J. Of course not available.
What I did notice was a few new or fairly new publications that to my
opinion appeared to attempt a similar venue of content as the original R.J.
I found them to miss the mark entirely. If indeed that was what they were attempting
. The first time I encountered an issue of the R.J. I did purchase it for the extraordinary at the time
sum of $12.50. I was not tempted to purchase one of the publications I mention. While not
happy about the small financial hit I took from R.J. on a renewed subscription I do
miss the publication and will resume reading and buying it should it return. They
may even make good on the issue I had?

Steve is still around, in the Sacramento, CA area I believe. He is active on Instagram and I see some mountain biking, off-roading in his heavily modified late model pickup (Tacoma), outdoor adventures.

    An excerpt:
Veronica gently touched Johnny’s hair as she whispered with a slow sultry voice “turn the idle mixture screws all the way in then back out one and a half turns”
Johnny, with restrained excitement, reached into his pocket and slowly removed a screw driver. Johnny then followed Veronica’s instructions as her watchful eyes gazed upon Johnny’s every move.
Johnny, full of bewilderment, noticed nothing changed as he bottomed out the mixture screws.
Veronica, red lips glistening in the sun as a breeze blew through her long flowing hair said “first I’ll remove the idle screws and make sure the seats are clean” then she said “we’ll use a vacuum gauge to further diagnose if nothing changes”. Johnny, eyes full of anticipation, added “I’ll grab a timing light as timing can sometimes mimic a carb issue”

The return of Germ is like a poke in the eye.......... Sure takes the focus off anything else for a while.
No one seems to be bitching and whinging about a certain periodical any more.

Just thought I would share a pic of a rock that sits on my desk. Seems appropriate...........:D

I wrote a couple children’s books (draft) looking for an illustrator.
I plan to be the first author that’s never read a book.
