I’m thinking I’ve got another 80 issues coming in my “Lifetime” so I’ll probably need another bookcase! FYI I got the black and white organizer/cases from IKEA.

Here’s a screenshot of the Rodders Journal Instagram page. Click on the TRJ website link in blue type and that’s where you’ll find the update. I couldn’t find the site using Google.

I exchanged text messages with Steve yesterday. He's finalizing issue 85 and says he'll have copies at Jalopyrama in May.

As a subscriber that has never received an issue, I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully I will see it.

Not me, but the update is on their website. It’s the only thing on there. Everything else have been removed.

I had finally decided to subscribe to TRJ just before they gave up. I had paid through Pay Pal and got my money back. I’ll be happy to try again once it looks real.

I think I would rather have them concentrate on getting their excellent Magazine back in print and out to us subscribers instead of emailing each of us individually with an update!

It's called a mailing list. It would literially take 30 seconds to copy and paste the text and send it to everyone.

I don't copy or paste, don't know how, don't want to and don't care. I believe that Steve has better things to do. I am patient and more than willing to wait for them to get the Mag back in production.

  21. Well, good news. I was hoping that he/they could get re-grouped and back in the saddle.
I'd rather get my Lifetime sub issues late, than not. Hoping they can get #84 out to us who don't live in the USA, and never received it, then continue with the rest.

Letting people know would be considered GOOD Public Relations. A little of that goes a long way in a situation like this

Well it’s to early to be an April 1st prank so I’ll hope it’s an accurate announcement. New title, “The Lazarus Rodders Journal” perhaps? And as far as being the “best” I’m very wary of anything with that term attached as how would it be measured? Good? Very good? Excellent?

Be nice to know if lifetime subscriptions will still be honored. My lifetime is more than the 2 issues I got.

Every subscriber is on the mailing list. He simply needs to attach the communication to the mailing list and press SEND and everyone on the list gets it at once. There's no individual emailing required.

  27. Looking forward to getting my "Lifetime" subs moneys worth. This is about the only car mag I get and I miss it.

I don't think the problem is sending a personal message to each subscriber. The problem is each subscriber would take it as an invitation to respond with their opinion. And as said he has plenty to do to get the magazine back running again. I sure hope he succeeds.

I'm not getting into a discussion about that, I was only explaining how a mailing list works.;)

  30. The lifetime membership was for the lifetime of the magazine.
Like if Studebaker offered lifetime oil changes in 63.
