You want to find a film made in 2002 called "Yank Tanks"[shown on cable once and a while] shows what they go through to keep those cars running in Cuba.Very entertaining-a guy making a replacement grille for a 57 chevy,cutting and filing with only hand tools.another making his own lining material for clutches and brakes-grinding asbestos,making a paste ,rolling it out and curing it !!

hi thor, i was also there on a mission trip building a school in village called el progresso. bout 1.5 hr drive up the mountain from where we were staying in Gualan. volcano still erupting, but lava wasn't making it all the way down & not affecting antigua. every few minutes puff of smoke & ash would fly out, pretty amazing sight! have a safe trip!
