probably 12 hours from now rise and shine to leave at zero dark thirty
I believe I have all the boxes checked and a proper pre trip
I wanted to jump start the thread so that I could post off my phone with something that was already started I will try to post as I progress on the trip and then lots of photos at the event
I will try to find some different sights than in the past but still chronicle the trip and event
I'm driving trustworthy '31 68C Model A Cabby banger powered with a 1935 diamond block casting, counterbalanced crank, inserted rods and mains, Stipe 350 cam, Riley cast iron flathead 5.5:1 compression, Burns downdraft intake with a Stromberg 97, Model A transmission, Mitchell OD
3.78 rear gear and 7.50 X 16 tires....I will mostly maintain highway speeds IMG_20231003_155003731_HDR.jpg see you tomorrow

It's a shame...all the local restaurants from Rt 66 area are closed in Santa Rosa but they have slab sided Kysers IMG_20231004_071232989_HDR.jpg IMG_20231004_071256747_HDR.jpg

IMG_20231004_074813918_HDR.jpg open road. Will be glad to be off of I-40 soon IMG_20231004_075253623_HDR.jpg sunflowers along the highway IMG_20231004_080541548_HDR.jpg condensation on the intake manifold...I guess I need some heat...I stopped to check after a real rough stretch of highway that sent the car sideways... everything appears ok but it was crazy for a little bit....
