A few pics of my 32 with it's 2 1/2" x .120 wall four point roll bar. At the airport 1/8 mile drags. Note the extra bend in the verticals - done for style. Another view. Shows how the top clears the roll bar when it's being folded. Me at the drags, I'm 6' and was sitting up a bit when the pic was shot. Younger daughter, she's about 5'6". Front view. Sweetie. She may look like she's slouching, but she isn't. She's 5'1" Fwiw, note the rear window is unsnapped and snapped under the top. It can be opened or closed with the top up in it's normal position. No probs in pulling the window and cloth between roll bar and top of window opening. Makes for a heck of a lot more ventilation. Like running topless, but with shade. I can give you some measurements if you like. Probably this afternoon. Hope that helps.
Woah, C9!! Thanks, I never had thought yet about the fact that if I wanted to run a top eventually, it had to clear the roll bar! I plan to run a 2" chopped stock '29 windshield, and will probably use a bop top, or something like it, if I decide to run a top at all. Here in Texas, the sun can get to you pretty quick, and a top might be really nice. Guess I'm preaching to the choir, huh? At first, I was planning to just build a fake bar out of exhaust tube, but I've since realized that with a 'glass car I have the luxury of putting in a real bar and trimming the body to fit. Thanks for the pics and response. Mike
