Event Coverage Roll Call: 2011 Day of the Drags!!

Well its 10 days away! We will have a big barbque pit setup under the trees ...stop by and say hey! Weather is cooling off..should be a good time

Goodguys couldnt hold a candle to Day of the Drags..Whole different world, and maybe for a short time the best place on earth to be !

 

What kind of time does it take to compete in the stock cl*** I was just wondering

 

Ive seen it vary...from mid to high 13s to 15s. The final round last year was John Jackson in his corvair van running 22.00 against a 54 chevy running 13.80.
He got two bye rounds and had two ppl redlight

 

Will be there as spectators this year, I hope to see an awesome turn out!

Weather is supposed to be clear and and high in the mid 80's

 

We'll be out there in the little lady's Durango. The ol F100 has been ridden hard and put up wet these past few weeks, so I'll give it a weekend to rest. See ya'll out there.
