Great information -- I've just shared it with a number of people that will not only utilize it but share it with a great number of other veterans. Before retirement part of my job was to assist veterans not only in finding employment but to access services that they have earned.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the information.

We certainly appreciate veterans. But in an effort to keep the board clean and focused over the next day, please take the time to find an exiting thread honoring veterans to post info or comments.

We generally have to do a lot of moving, merging of threads and general cleanup of political rants, so while we don't want to axe everything all together, we still need to keep this place pure.

So hats off to all veterans – go drive your hot rod today.

Well today is November 10th and 235 years ago today, a few brave men banded together to form the United States Marine Corps. It is fitting that they were at Tunn Tavern in PA. What better place to form the worlds strongest and deadliest fighting force then in a Tavern? Today is also Veterans Day. The day to honor all of our brave men and women who have fought and are still fighting for our freedom today. It is my Honor and privilege to be apart of the finest fighting organization in the world. After 18 years it still brings a lump to my throat and pride to my heart to see the American flag being waved, to hear the National Anthem, and to sing the Marines Hymn while drinking a pint of ale with my fellow Devil Dogs. Happy Birthday Marines and Semper Fidelis to all of you and our countrymen who have gone before us on this glorious day.
