    My Father served in Korea and it almost killed him. Thanks Dad I miss you.

    Thanks to all vets and their families for your sacrifices.

    I was a wheel & track mechanic in the 1st Infantry from 72-75. All I sacrificed was a mountain of beer - and my eyebrows, when I blew my street racer '65 Nova to smithereens in a plane hanger one day - blew the hood clear up to the ceiling in a giant ball of flame!

    US Army 66-68 Germany (I was a lucky one) 516th Engineer Company at Hanau Germany, I have a nephew in the Marines, just deployed to Afganistan, has been to the sandbox a few years ago. grateful to all those that served and make it possible for me to live here in FREEDOM!

    Bill, thanks for posting that picture. If that ain't a hot rod I don't know what is.

    And thanks to all who thank us vets. ( US Navy, 1974-1978) I remember all too well when people were not so nice.
    Special thanks from me to all the vets of Iraq and Afghanistan, and especially those who are there now. Stay safe. America DOES give a damn.
