Dad was in Army Air Corps. in the south pacific in WWII and in the air force in Korea. I served 4 years to the minute in the air force, Nam vet, and one son that served in the army one term inlisted and went back in and got out as a captain after leaving Iraq. He made me proud.

 

Jet engine mechanic US Air Force June of 1966 to June 1970. Da Nang Vietnam Nov. 1967 to Nov. 1968.

Step-grandpa was Army(1st Inf."Big Red One"), and part of the second wave to the beach on D-day. I was w/HQ and A Btry 1st Bn 12th Marines 3rd Mar Div. from 95-99 as FDC(0844)...got out a SGT, and still learning new ways to piss people off. God bless America, and Semper Fi!

Served in Army and Fl National Guard as Lt Wheel Veh Mech(63B)and Machinist(44E).

 

Army 70 - 72 (1 year 7 mo 12 days - early out) Chaplains Assistant 575th Medical Evac Unit, Fort Devens Mass. Never had to go to Nam, war was winding down.

The military didn't influence my hot rodding, it helps pay for it though..
