Who is coming to the Run to Sun in Myrtle Beach in March????

Stand up and be recognized..Past few years have seen an improvement. A little less v8 powered dumpsters, and some more traditional based.

 

I was there last year,,not sure if i will make it this year.

I guess I'll know for sure in March. HRP

I'll be visiting my son "comet" in Charleston and we plan on a day trip up there but will be driving a stocker.

 

It actually has gotten SOME better in the past few years. Lots of cars and tons of people.
The main draw for most is the fact that it is held at Myrtle Beach SC.

There is no admission to see the cars SO ... you get a lot of folks not used to car show guidelines.
They open your doors, sit on your ride and bump into it with their baby strollers.

If you go ... try to get there early ... the traffic around the event site gets BAD ... early.

The wife and I have talked about going ... but nothing definate yet.

You know I'll be there! 3 blocks from the office and no work will be getting done anyways with the distraction. I'll be in a blue 62 Bel Air wagon with white roof.

 

Thought about it but not sure yet.

 

Think we are head there.....as a spectator.

 

Trying to get a few more cars from down here to caravan up there. Sounds like a fun time if you arrive early.

 

haven't never been but going this year.

 

Looks like there will be at least 11 of us there so far........

The Retarded Sparks will be rolling down on Thursday. We'll be at the Sandcastle South, 4th floor parking deck. Y'all come on by.

$40 for pre-registration. A little high, but it does go to a good cause. Hope to see a good turnout.

 

Man if Toucan and company are coming, I will start stocking up on Onions. It will make you DURL for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

The wife and I are planning to head down, but we will be in our 67 Chevelle. It is considered off topic here.

Does this event usually start on Thursday?

 

In the past, there has been a cruise down Ocean Drive on Thursday. Meet up at the registration point and cruise @ 5 pm.

There has been a LOT of talk in my area about the event. A good many car guys and gals have made plans to attend. The beach is a big draw for a lot of folks. 5 or 6 of my friends are going solely because their wife wants to go to the beach and SHOP

They are cleaning up the parking lot already. Just saw a crew there while on my lunch break. Can't wait. Hoping for a strong turnout.

 

Looking forward to It I can't make it out on friday WORK, but will be on the yard Saturday. Any one want to get a HAMB get together really like getting to meet every one.

Toucan Beachbun motoandy you guys up?

 

Toucan will be there sometime Sat Morning. Mrs BeachBum and I will be there around noon. Where are you guys planning to park? Lets go somewhere afterwards for a meal.

 

Don't have a HAMB friendly car myself but plan to come down and check out all the cool rides.

 

Weather forecast is looking great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Parking as always will be tough but lets try to get something going in the evening. Hope to meet some new people on Saturday during the show.
